Before Zuni could knock him down and break his hands and legs to make him unable to kill himself, he bit hard on his tongue and moments later, he spit out the cut tongue at her. He caught her off-guard with his action. Seeing him want to hit her, she grabbed him by his slightly long hair but he used the big and weird snake design ring on his finger to stab his other hand and the next moment, he fell to the ground. 

"Motherfuc*er!" Zuni pulled his hair but he didn't react. She checked his pulse. And he was dead, making a certain Mafia princess dissatisfied and angry. 

She admitted that her skills had rusted. She had been away from fields so long that she forget how to use the theory that she learned in special mafia classes in practical life. 

Then again, her family wasn't a family of gangsters. They stopped selling drugs, women and all the shit that used to make them Mafia and abandoned all this business and entered a very clean business.

They export those weapons to governments and all kinds of organizations all over the world. "Hubby, I'm scared, "Zuni said in a soft voice. 

"Come here, "Song Jingren opened his arms for her and she hugged him like a baby. "I'm right here. You have nothing to be scared of. The guards caught the person. The police arrested him. He was just a random guy who wanted attention by killing me."

'Liar, 'Zuni said in her heart. She knew that the man wasn't a random guy wanting attention. He was a trained assassin sent to kill him. She didn't tear his cover because she knew that he only wanted her to relax and stop worrying about him. 

She chose to tighten her arms around his waist and placed her head on his raging heartbeat. 

"Let's go home, "Song Jingren said. "You went shopping. Where are your shopping bags?"

Zuni looked at him and inwardly cursed in her heart. Tang Zhixin happened and she lost her shopping bags. She was pissed. She could call Luna to bring her bag. But she didn't act on this idea. Knowing her brother well, Luna would be sent back to her dad's place. 

"I lost them, "Zuni said in a soft voice. Better to accept the truth. "Are you sending me to the Villa?"

Song Jingren looked at her wide green eyes and sighed to himself. Even if he wanted to send him there, he couldn't send her away because she was still afraid of the incident. It would be better if she stayed with him for a few more days as his penthouse was more secure than any of his houses.

 What if she got nightmares at night? 

"No, we are going to the penthouse, "Song Jingren said. "For the next few days, don't leave the penthouse. "

"What about you?" Zuni ended up saying. 

"Work from home, '' she heard him say. She grinned as several ideas of seducing him started playing in her head.

 Good things she lost her shopping bags.
