He concluded when her eyes softened and she patted his back while promising to herself that she would help him and Penny come closer.

Her father already had her mother even if it was for a small time but Reynold, he only had memory of his unrequited love.

"I will help you, Reynold. You do not need to worry about it." she patted his shoulders with a tone full of resolution when he blinked his head.

"Pardon! What would you help me with?" he asked in a confused tone but she only grinned and shook her head.

"So.. about your mother. She was a nice lady that was loved by whole family, her father, her brothers and sisters and everyone adored her." he said with a bright smile.

Only the mention of Evangeline brings a bright smile on his face.
