Clearing Misunderstandings

"I must say your daughter is such a gem. Who would have thought that a three year old girl would give us clothes made by her and her friends. Now I am feeling ashamed." Although Eli said so, she couldn't help but roam her hands again and again.

She was still amazed that such a perfect dress was made by Renee when she was so small.

"Yes, she is a good girl. You should be ashamed to not treat her well!"  Andrew said with a look of disdain. Why did she feel that they both fought like they were having lovers spat?

She looked away giggling at her personal joke.

"But darling, you should not have done so much hard work on us. We should be the one doting on you and showering you with so many gifts." Hannah picked up Renee in her arms as she kissed her on the cheeks while Nathan blinked.

This was the first time his mother had praised anyone else except him. He pouted when Andrew laughed and picked him up.
