2. The Kid

"What should we do with the kid, Alpha?"

"The kid isn't from our pack, he can be a rogue or from some other pack, what should we do Alpha?", Jeon-soo asked me too.

The pup is too small to be left alone, he can die if we live him in the forest.

"Jeon-soo take this pup and went back to the main house, and feed him for now. I will come back after checking this area."

"Yes, alpha!"

Jeon-soo converted himself back to his human form and held the pup in his arms.

"Come back soon.", after saying this to me Jeon-soo left from there with the pup.

"You come with me.", I asked the head, his name is Woobin.

He converted himself to his wolf form, he came with me to check out the area. We didn't find anything suspicious, Woobin went back to his post and I returned to the main house.

It's already midnight most of the people in the house are sleeping. The main house is the largest one in the pack, half of the house is used as an office and the rest of the part is the place which is used as a house to live. Other than me there is my beta with his mate and my two gammas with their mates too, they have their children too.

The Luna doesn't live with me, she lives in a separate part of the house with her son and daughter. We used to live in the same place until dad was there, after I won back the territory she didn't stay here even for a day.

I entered the house, the lights are already off. I do not want to disturb anyone, so I directly went to my room silently without making any noise.

I opened the door to my room and switched on the light. My room is fully furnished, it's the winter season someone has already burned the furnace to keep my room warm. I removed my overcoat and hung it on the stand, "huh...", there's a food plate on the desk beside the stand.

And there's a note over it too. I picked up the note.

"I know you'll directly come to your room and won't eat anything. I have put these granola bars on the plate eat them and call me whenever you read this. I will come to your with food. By Eunha."

Eunha is Jeon-soo's mate, she is really caring towards me. Besides the kids, I am the youngest amongst the elder wolves so here everyone cares for me. Also, we are together since our childhood so there's a special bond between us.

A slight smile formed on my face seeing the food and the note. I am not gonna call her although I will definitely eat these bars.

Eunha always leave something to eat with the note because she knew that I will not ask her to serve me food. She always does so whenever I came late alone and send Jeon-soo first.

These days I have a lot of work to do, I want to take care of a few things before my birthday so I am exerting myself a bit more.

I do not have much energy to wash, removing my shoes I lay on the bed. I didn't remember when the sleep engulfed me in its arm.

Ah! someone is knocking on my door. Even my alarm didn't ring until now.

Ahhh...! I whine like a kid, rolling over my bed.

Suddenly a thought crossed my mind, what if someone invaded our territory?

I jolted up from the bed, I can tell by the smell that it was Jeon-soo. I opened the door with a thud sound.

"What is it?"

"Calm down, I know you are tired. Just come out Eunha told me to call you for breakfast."

It came out wrong like I am scolding him. He is still in his pajamas, Eunha must have forced him to come here.

"I will come after taking a bath."

"Uhh! she said just come you can wash up later. No need to scold me I am just relaying the message.", he said yawning and crossing his arms making an X' sign.

"Let me put on a shirt at least."

"Okay, come soon.", said he left from there. He is walking slowly, I think he is deprived of sleep too.

I went toward my bed and picked up the shirt I was wearing last night and wore the same one again. I have a habit to sleep shirtless so I removed the shirt while sleeping, unknowingly.

I went towards the dining room, Eunha was cooking something on the kitchen counter while Jeon-soo is sleeping on the dining table, and Dong-woo is sitting on the chair reading a book.

Dong-woo is the son of Hwan and Iseul, Hwan is my gamma. He is ten years old, he is the eldest among the three kids in the house. I suddenly remembered about the kid which was found the previous night.

"Good Morning! Uncle.", Dong-woo said enthusiastically with a bright smile on his face.

Hearing his greetings, Eunha turned her face to me.

"Morning.", I replied to him with a smile.

"You didn't call me last night and you slept without eating.", she said angrily with a spatula in her hand.

"Still, I ate the bars you put in my room. What about the kid that came last night?"

"He is in my room, he was quite injured too. He didn't eat anything, he didn't wake up the whole time, and he is still sleeping in my room.", she said coming with the pan in her hands.

"Which kid came last night?", Dong-woo asked us.

"Dong-woo, you are done eating right? You should go and play outside.", Eunha told him politely.

"You can simply say that you have to talk something to Alpha. No need to make excuses.", the kid said getting off his chair.

This kid is quite more mature than other kids, he went out right away.

"Nobody knows about him yet, we have to ask others if we want to take him inside the pack. And make everyone agree before Luna knows about him."

"She is right. He isn't from our pack, we can't let him stay for longer. He will eventually have to go out.", Jeon-soo said raising his head from the table.

"I thought you were sleeping."

"I was, but you just woke me up.", Jeon-soo mushing his eyes.

"So, how are you going to handle him?", Eunha asked me.
