Alfonso started for the door. Riccardo was about to do the same when Soledad interrupted with a raised hand.

"Can I go now?" she asked.

"Not you too. You, sit back down until I get back. Am I clear enough?" Riccardo's warning was loud and clear.

Soledad nodded stiffly.

"Good."
