Hospitalized

Randall regained his sitting stature after a few hours. Louise thanked the nurses' who gave her the meal, and saw a bland, white porridge. She didn't know if it could stimulate Randall's will to eat. He must be going through a rough time after the surgery.

Louise has been sleeping at the side of his head bed for 2 days.

She ordered someone to deliver her clothes, and they already did. Louise showered earlier to get refreshed, and when she came out, Randall was already experiencing a high rate of breathing.

When everything has stabilized, Randall's consciousness changed into an alert one.

Slowly, he breathed, "I wanted some water and food."

Louise turned around, giving a smile, and put down the tray. She clasped the spoon and fork, reached out for his hand, and gave it a go. Randall didn't react, and his face was still emotionless. Louise beamed sadly, asking, "Are you alright feeding on your own?"
