They got to his mansion at Peachland estate. As soon as they arrived, Chen Zhen looked over at Lin Ying. He wondered whether or not to wake her up.
Looking closely, his eyes lingered on her face. "She's beautiful even when she sleeps," he whispered.
Slowly, Lin Ying opened her eyes startling him. He hurriedly sat up straight and looked away from her.
Lin Ying who wasn't fully awake rubbed her eyes as she sat up. She looked around her surrounding after noticing that the car was not moving.
"Where are we?" she asked confused.
"Peachland... get off the car." his voice was cold and so was the temperature in the car. At first, Lin Ying was not sure of what she heard but after she saw Chen Zhen leaving the car, she got off too.
In front of her was a gigantic building which was not surprising to her. After all, she didn't live in poverty either.
"Let's go in," he spoke and began to walk away leaving her behind. Quietly, Lin Ying followed behind him.
Although Chen Zhen was welcoming a new member into his family, he wasn't very hospitable. As she walked into the house, she saw him on the phone making a serious call with someone and she immediately guessed that it had to do with work.
She stood quietly waiting for directions on where to go but that took forever. Chen Zhen didn't turn back even for a minute. Instead, he walked away into his study leaving her there with no one to attend to her.
A sigh escaped Lin Ying's lips. The whole marriage rite was already tiring and standing here felt like a punishment.
After a long wait, she went to the room where he was and knocked gently. The door opened as a result of this knock and she realized that the door wasn't shut in the first place.
Slowly, she walked inside only to find her newly wedded husband busy on his computer.
"Do you have some spare time? I don't know my way around." her voice was calm and charming but Chen Zhen was indifferent.
Instead of taking her to her room, he pointed as though he was drawing a map around the house for her.
"Go upstairs, the second door to your right," he explained without even looking up.
Lin Ying wanted to say something but on another thought, she held back. Just as Chen Zhen said, she went upstairs and then to the second door to her right. She knocked before entering just to be sure that no one was inside.
After knocking, she slowly walked into the room and was surprised to see how beautifully furnished the room was.
It wasn't as big as her room in the Lin family but it was glamorous and beautiful. She sighed and walked further inside. Tired, she removed her heavy red dress and went to the bathroom to take a bath.
The water was soothing. Scented candles were lit in the bathroom and this made her very relaxed. She relaxed inside the tub and closed her eyes.

In Chen Zhen's study, he was still busy with work. He was unable to work properly for the past few days because of the wedding preparations so he had to finish up as soon as possible.
He spent hours on his computer before deciding to retire to bed. He left his study and went upstairs to his room which was just a door away from Lin Ying's room.
Chen Zhen opened the door but didn't go in. He looked over at the door beside where he stood. His brow furrowed and he wondered if she was sleeping already.
Slowly, he walked over and knocked on the door but got no response. Curious, he pushed the doorknob down and opened the door.
He checked to see if she was already sleeping but to his surprise, she was not on the bed and her red wedding dress was on the bed.
Confused, he looked around but didn't find her. "Could she have gone downstairs?" he wondered and hurried downstairs to check on her.
To his surprise, she was nowhere in sight. He called out for her several times but she didn't answer him.
"Did she go back home?... No! She wouldn't do such." he hurried outside to ask the watchman if he had seen her but before approaching the watchman, he spotted her on a bench at the back of the house. Chen Zhen stayed at a distance and observed her.
Lin Ying sat quietly and stared at the night sky. The time was way over 2:00 am but she didn't even realize, all that mattered to her were the millions of stars in the sky, all of which she couldn't count no matter how hard she tried.
It all seemed so beautiful to her. 'I wish you were here father. I miss watching the stars with you.' She thought to herself and sighed.
Although she had a big smile on her face, Chen Zhen could tell that she was not happy. He didn't know what it was but one thing was for sure, she wasn't happy here.
From behind, butler Lee whispered, startling Chen Zhen "It is too early to tell."
Chen Zhen turned abruptly to look at him and furrowed his brow. "What... what... what are you talking about?" he asked confused about whether or not the butler had become a psychic.
Butler Lee smiled and before he could say anything, Chen Zhen walked away feeling as though he was caught doing something wrong.
He smiled seeing his young master walk away like that. "I've never seen him act that way." he looked over at Lin Ying and smiled before walking away.
Chen Zhen went into the house and scoffed in disbelief. "How could he have snuck up on me like that? Aish..." he scratched his head before heading into his room unfortunately, he couldn't get any sleep, no matter how hard he tried.
