Reconciliation Between Sibling

His eyebrows rose as he saw Howland put the magic stone in the pocket of his pants. The man really didn't return it to Aslan.

Howland still looked doubtful. Aslan, who kept an eye on Howland, could see that ever since the final decision of the trial that would detain Nicholas in Angaria and make Angaria's representatives mad, Howland had become restless, as if it was difficult for him to rest peacefully.

Keeping Nicholas in Angaria was what they all wanted, but why did Howland look like he didn't like the idea? Even earlier, during their brief meeting, Howland stated that he would move Aslan out of Westalis.

Aslan didn't know what the man was thinking. He couldn't read his friend's mind.

"What is it? You look more restless than usual. It's like you're standing on the edge, and you're going to fall at any moment."

Howland chuckled. "Is that true?"

"Yes, earlier you also vented your worries by raising your voice when you scolded Roseanne."
