Her Shadow

In the room, Rosie stood beside Aslan, hovering in the air. She wished the man could hear her call, so she tried to call Aslan over and over again, but her effort was in vain. Aslan let out a long sigh. The man bent down to kiss Rosie's lips gently, and Rosie could feel a warm and tingling sensation on her lips.

Rosie blinked in surprise and held her lips. Aslan rested his head on her chest while closing his eyes.

Rosie wanted to stroke the man's hair and tell him not to be sad.

"Aslan… don't show me that face. I'm here," she said while stroking Aslan's hair even though her hand passed through the man's head.

"Your birthday is less than a week away. Please wake up before that day comes," Aslan said, making Rosie sad.

Aslan stood up and took off his coat. He raised his hand and smelled his own body. Aslan felt that his body smelled really bad right now, but he didn't want to leave his wife just to take a bath.
