Howland On The Tail

Aslan counted down to estimate when they should move again. Several men brought a large basket of fish on their shoulders and got off the ship, leaving only one foreman to wait on the ship. The man was holding a notebook in his hand.

"We're moving now," Aslan said, pulling Rosie's hand up the damp, moldy stairs to the deck.

"Hey, who are you two?" asked the man with the book.

Aslan just glanced over and carried his wife in his arms so he could run fast. The deck floor was very slippery. He didn't want his wife to fall or slip on it. Because Aslan didn't answer his question, the man shouted, making several people on the port who were busy with their business, turn their heads towards him.

Rosie gripped the hood of her coat tightly so no one could see her face. The man called the knights on patrol, while the other just watched. There was no one who wanted to help or stop Aslan and Rosie.

"I can run myself from here on out," said Rosie.
