Dividing House Chores

"Oh, then I'll get your clothes. I washed it this morning, so it's probably dry by now."

"You… do the laundry?" Aslan asked confusedly.

"Yeah? why?"

He took his wife's hand and saw the red marks on the girl's palms. Ah ... Aslan should have got up earlier, so that hia wife didn't have to do everything alone.

"But… I want to do it."

"I know, but you'll be sick. Look at your reddened hands. Just let me do the heavy work. I brought you here because I want you to live in peace."

Rosie immediately touched Aslan's face so the man would stop talking and look at her. 

"Aslan. Here, we live alone. No one else can help us. And if I let you do all the work alone, it wouldn't be fair. I won't let you do it all either. We are husband and wife, right? We should help each other."

"How about just cooking? I don't want you to get too tired," the man protested.
