Aslan Getting Spoiled

"You can hug me all you want again now."

Rosie's offer was very tempting. Aslan felt so weak right now, so only his wife's embrace could keep him hold on.

"Did you have a bad dream?"

Aslan nodded weakly.

"About your childhood or the tragedy?"

"Both."

Rosie stroked Aslan's face gently, which was red with fever. His lips also looked drier and started to crack. The man then closed his eyes with hot breaths. His hand on her back felt like a fire, but Rosie didn't say anything. She didn't want Aslan to have trouble sleeping.

"It's alright now. It is already in the past. We will live happily here," Rosie said, making Aslan nod.

"Don't go," the man replied, and it made Rosie smile.

"Go where? Around this island, there is only the sea. You know I really hate traveling by sea."

"Roseanne, you are the only one for me. Right now, you're the only thing that keeps me going."

"I know. Sleep well and get well soon."
