The Unexpected May's Saviour

"Good evening, Rosie! Good evening, Mr. Montgomery!" greeted Gary cheerfully.

Rosie waved her hand in greeting to the boy.

"Good afternoon Gary. you want to go to the dock?" Rosie asked.

The boy nodded enthusiastically.

"Yeah! I want to buy a lot of food tonight! The money I got from selling clams, fish, and mushrooms last week, I'm saving it well for today!" said Gary who proudly held up his money bag.

"Be careful, don't take it out too often, otherwise you'll lose your money," Rosie said, reminding the boy to tie his money bag properly.

"It's okay. I'm not as careless as Ludwig. I can take good care of my money," Gary said with a big smile on his face.

Rosie smiled at Gary. The children on the island had their own charisma. They were unique and made everyone who saw them feel happy.
