Noah And His Other Injury

Aslan traced Rosie's back with his palm, enjoying the girl's soft skin. For the last three years, he had held only rough objects, and now that his wife was in his arms, Aslan didn't want to let her go.

However, he knew that he couldn't stay here forever. He had to return to the clinic so that no guard would suspect him.

"The guards will be patrolling in two hours. Now is the perfect time to return, Aslan," Rosie said in a hoarse voice with a hint of sleepiness.

"Two more hours? Hm… there's still time to hug my wife," Aslan answered while lifting his wife's body to get closer to him.

Rosie hugged Aslan's warm body, resting her face in the crook of his neck.

Rosie woke up with an exhausted body. The bed felt cold. She touched the other parts of it to make sure that Aslan was still with her or had gone. When she didn't feel Aslan beside her, she got up in a panic and then looked for the man's whereabouts.
