The Unexpected Question

Aslan helped his wife to fix her clothes. Rosie seemed to see what was in her white coat. That was why she threw Aslan a glare. She regretted not taking off her coat. She was too caught up in Aslan's touch to think straight.

Now Rosie had to take off her doctor coat. She threw it over the chair and then asked Aslan to have a serious talk now. If not, then the man might keep him in one of the beds again.

Rosie glanced at the bed occupied by the other patients, and it seemed they were still sleeping.

"Come here. I already know how to get you to visit the library."

Aslan pulled up a chair to sit beside his wife. The girl protested and told him to sit across the table. Rosie didn't want someone to suddenly come in and catch them this close.

"No one will come. Don't worry," said Aslan confidently. The man really took everything too lightly.
