Sibling's Reunion

"How long have we not seen each other?" asked Howland who then pulled up a chair to sit beside Rosie's bed.

"Three years," answered the girl in a very small voice.

However, in the silent room, Howland could hear her clearly.

"It's been so long. How are you? Are you hurt?"

Rosie just smiled bitterly.

"Howland. Have you forgotten that I am not your sister?" asked Rosie who felt bad for all the attention the man was giving her.

"I know, but the body you used belongs to my sister. I still don't want it to get hurt," Howland replied simply.

He could see Rosie looking away. The girl looked thinner. Much skinnier than before. Her chubby cheeks were still there, but Howland remembered that his little sister was chubbier than this. Also, under her eyes, he could see dark circles. The girl looked like someone who was exhausted. What did Aslan do to make his sister suffer like this?
