Chapter 2 Flashback to before I became an egg

Max POV.

As I am stuck in my current situation I start to think back about my life before becoming a beast egg. I seem to remember before waking up in my current situation, I was at a dig site. For you see in my previous life I was a paleontologist. I studied all sorts of extinct animals and civilizations. My team and I had just found what looked to be like a new species of dinosaur that hadn't been discovered yet. I especially was very excited for I would be able to name it. I had planned on naming it omnivorous maximus. Nice don't you think? However I digress. The reason for the name was that the bones seemed to have characteristics of both a canivorus and herbivore. It was well and truly the most fascinating find ever! Now that I truly think back to that life, I also remember seeing what I thought to be an egg that might have belonged to that species. We were carefully excavating but unfortunately something must have happened or else I wouldn't have woken up here. I'm so so curious about what I will turn out to be. Well I really guess there is nothing else to do but wait.
