Chapter 15 Exams 4

Lillian's POV

The judges of the contest decided to change the strategy plan. For the 3 of us who tested above all the rest, they want to incorporate teams for the first part of the exams. They'll have us mixed in with the lower ones to give them a better chance of getting good scores. The second part though they will just have to do their best in the one on one battles. I'm looking forward to the one on one battles, how about you Max?

Judge " Alright everyone. Gather around so we can put you in different groups. We'll make sure everyone gets a chance at getting a chance to get good results."

Lillian POV

Well we're finally in our group. Looks like they are going to have us go towards different directions. Group one is going North. Group 2 is going South. Group 3 is going West and group 4 is going east. Max and I are in group 4. We're going towards a forested area. Let's see what will happen.

Max POV

Our first conflict happens to be a strangling vine? How easy. It shot is different vine appendages towards me. I take a breath and then release fire breath. Who's up for some roast vine? 😈😈 I know you're probably thinking yuck! You'd be amazed at how good it tastes. Oh well let's hope that the next wild beast gives me a bit more challenge than that one did.

Lillian's POV

We hear the sound of someone yelling for help. We immediately go towards the voice. When we come to a clearing and see one of our fellow teammates struggling with a wild beast. They have a tree beast and they are fighting a lightning rat. It looks like they might be losing any minute now. So I go over to help.

Unknown POV

I was just putting some plants in my storage bag when I was suddenly attacked by an electric rat. I call out my tree beast, Trina.

Trina use bind. She stretches out her limb to wrap around the rat. Before she can bind the rat, but the rat was too fast and used lightning strike. Trina got severely damaged. I quickly call for help. After a few minutes I really thought that all hope was lost. When I heard someone coming. Please help me.

Lillian's POV

I came as soon as I heard your call for help.

Let me introduce myself, I'm Lillian. May I ask your name?

Unknown POV

My name is Joanne. Thank you for coming to help. I really appreciate it.

Lillian's POV

Max let's help Joanne.

Max POV

Lillian just asked me to help. I'm more than happy for the challenge. Let me start off with my flame attack. So I blow my flames towards the rat. The rat was able to avoid a head on attack and only got scorched on his side. He then uses lightning bolt. I am able to avoid it by flying up. Thanks for the new element attack. 😈😈😈😈😈😈😈

I now use lightning bolt with a stronger punch to my attack than his. The lightning rat was knocked back a bit. It survived. Erg!!!!! You are going down you dirty rat. So I then up the power behind my newly learned lightning attack along with my fire breath. I blow my flames and discharge my lightning at the same time. KABOOM!!! SIZZLE, SIZZLE. This time after the dust cleared all that could be seen was a crystal. Finally, the rat is dead. Mwah, ha, ha.

Joanne's POV

When I first saw the little t-rex's first attack get dodged, I thought that all hope was lost. Then I saw the next attack actually struck the lightning rat. I started to get a little glimmer of hope. The next attack left me with my eyes bulging and my jaw draw dropped. That little t-rex used both lightning and fire and the next thing I saw was the soul crystal left behind. So I turned to Lillian and said "Thank you for all of your help. Your little t-rex is so strong.

Max POV

Humph, little my butt! Just wait, you'll see how big I'll be.

Lillian's POV

"Awe, it's the least that we could do. Besides Max did all the work.

Joanne "So that's his name. Thank you Max"
