The guards stare you down as you approach. You do your best to stay assertive. "I was just wondering if I could get a closer look," you say. "I'd just like to verify for myself that everything's OK with the Orb."


The first guard shakes her head. "Nobody gets close," she says. "Ichtare's orders."


The second guard looks you up and down. "You work in infrastructure," he says. "What makes you think you're qualified? Its keeper will be back soon. Don't worry about it." He's right. You're not even an expert on the Orb. What makes your opinion any better than some random person's? Probably best to leave it to the professionals. You doubt that you'd be able to identify if there was anything wrong with it anyway. You should probably stop pushing.
