Chasing Night

I did all I could to prepare for the exam, and it's finally over!

"I thought I was going to die," Andy said as he rested his head on his desk. Examinations were finally over and I confidently answered everything so I'm free to enjoy.

"Let's go to that ice cream parlor again," Andy said and I agreed.

"That's why I told my guardian that I'm going home late." I smiled. "Let's go."

Kaoru still accompanied us because he can't ever let me go alone or else he'll get scolded. That reminds me, El really doesn't reply to messages. I sent him a belated happy birthday greeting since I learned that his birthday was on the 1st of February.

How did I learn of it? When I opened the messaging app, it said that it was his birthday that day. Even though I was too late already, I still wanted to greet him. Maybe that's why he asked me on a date in the aquarium, to celebrate his birthday.

"Ellie? What do you want to eat?"
