Chasing Night

El showed me the mask he was holding in his hand and placed it on his face. "Looks familiar now?" He chuckled as I heard that same voice. That same shrieking voice gave me goosebumps.

I immediately pushed the keychain but someone pulled my hand causing the keychain to fall to the ground, but before they could even cover my mouth, I flipped the guy behind me and ran towards the door.

"There's no need to run like that, Noelle," El called my name but I ignored him. I need to escape.

"I don't understand why you're doing this, Aziel," I called his full name, but he laughed at me. "What's so funny? Why won't you explain anything?" I can't believe any of this, no… I don't want to believe it.

El walked towards the sofa and sat on it with his legs crossed. "Why? You can't believe it?" He chuckled.
