Tragic Truth

I gasped after hearing that. 'G-Grandpa Kenta has a daughter? Which means…' My gaze landed on Night and he was already looking at me with a confused expression. 'I remember! I didn't tell him that the handkerchief belongs to Aziel. That's why he's confused.' I gulped as I started scratching my fingernail due to nervousness.

"My daughter… she's been missing since she was just a mere child."

Missing? Then that means grandpa Kenta isn't aware of Aziel at all. I couldn't look at grandpa Kenta as I stared at my fingers. Should I really tell them about it? It'll only hurt them, but if I don't, their suffering won't stop.

'Wait a minute… that means, the assassin Night killed to protect his mother, was his long-lost aunt.' I gulped and started biting my fingernails as I could feel my body trembling in fear. It'll hurt them. Not only grandpa Kenta but most especially Night.
