Chasing Night

I couldn't believe my eyes. Tears wouldn't stop falling as I could smell the familiar awful stench of blood. It makes me want to vomit.

"Young master." Kaoru immediately ran to Night's aide after seeing nobody else near him. "Young master?" He called for him, but there was no response.

My body became stiff as I couldn't move from where I was standing. Because of me… he's going to die because of me. Like what Tomoe said, Night was willing to die for me, and I let it all happen.

I staggered on my way toward him. "N-Night." My voice cracked after calling his name. My heart felt like it has been stabbed upon seeing the state he was in.

"Are you crying?" I heard Night asking in a low voice. His voice was hoarse and he couldn't open his eyes due to the blood coming from his head. "Don't cry." He said while Kaoru tear the ropes tied on him.
