The punch wasn't strong enough to send Corvo to the ground but it was enough to have him staggering several steps back. He rubbed the side of his face where Ivo had hit him, moving his jaw around to check the damage.

"He won't thank you for defending his honour, you know?" He sneered and spat on the ground missing Ivo's feet by very little.

Ivo wasn't about to stand there and discuss what Vice would or wouldn't do with Corvo. "Let's just stay out of each other's business. You go your way and I go mine."

A new voice startled both of them, "and how do you plan to do that?"

They looked in the direction of the sound and found Maguari watching them from under an awning's shade, arms crossed in front of her chest. It was impossible to tell how long she'd been there, watching them argue.

She sauntered towards them slowly, arms still crossed and eyes narrowed. "Answer the question. You're going to be part of this organisation, isn't that right?"
