The figure seemed less strange now. It had said something of an introduction, then rambled about the beenfits of martial arts. If I had any talent, I would have persued that path long ago.

"So what I'm saying is this, I can teach you my unique family techniques, in exchange for carrying out my mission," it driveled on.

Mikoto had an adverse reaction to the sentiment, unfortunately,

he irritatedly exclaimed, "I don't want your shitty martial arts! I have enough on my are already! First, there's the seelie shortage and then the conflict in the west... I'm struggling to survive even on the edges of the city. Not to mention, I don't even know who you are."

"Didn't I already tell you? My name is Nagatha, and I'm a primordial master and heir of the tempestuous harp. Additionally, if you acknowledge my offer I can guarantee you will have ease finding differential riches and privileges.

"Hmm, if you promise such a fix to these problems, then I may have to consider it."

Mikoto wasn't so eager to trust this mysterious individual who claimed to be an exonerated figure, but it wouldn't hurt to accept what could be a fruitious blessing.

"I look forward to working with you," they both agreed on a handshake.

This would likely be the start of a blossoming friendship, and this unlikely pair of teacher and student would cause much upheaval in the years to come.
