Focus on getting back

No no. This can't be happening. I and directions are like fire and ice, we just can't seem to get along.

I look at the few contestants that remained and they look at me cautiously, ever since the debacle this evening, each person has been more distrustful of the other, everyone trying to gain an advantage.

Don't even think about it. A lady in a yellow bonnet responds. She and the remaining group of ladies transform to their wolves and speed off.

Now I am the only one who is left. I didn't even know when June left, so much for helping each other out. Okay think think. I sniff the air to catch a scent that could I can follow but I am assaulted by different scents, apparently done purposely by the matron. if I can go quite a distance away, I can try to catch a scent again. What if I go the wrong direction? Less thinking and more doing

I head east or I guessing this is East. I try again. The air is fresher here, I can smell the damp earth, the flowers and the rotting carcass of an animal. Eww. The rotting carcass of an animal.

This isn't working, I have to transform. Since meeting my wolf, I have yet to fully transform. I do not know much about being a wolf apart from what I witnessed back in my pack, no one thought to waste time teaching wolf things to a kid without a wolf. but that's by the way, how hard can this thing be, I just have to will it.

I close my eyes and concentrate for minute. Nothing happens. I try again and nothing still happens.  I Concentrate real hard this around.
