The Familiar Smile

Sometime later, Wolford realizes something and immediately snaps out of it. "Dammit! I need to calm down first. Why I'm thinking like this?" Wolford sighed and rubbed his forehead.

"Well, my father gave me everything that I have right now. He's the one who feeds me, at my side when I'm sick. Furthermore, he's not a bad father, but at the same time not too good of a father." Wolford mumbled as he continued to walk, shortly later, already out of the kitchen.

After exiting the door and looking at the sky, the moon and the stars could be seen—their beautiful color and light reflected in Wolford's eyes.

"The moon is as beautiful as ever, but the world is not as peaceful as it appears," Wolford mumbled as his gaze directed at the moon and the stars in the black sky.

Wolford continued to gaze at the dark sky, with only the moon and stars visible to his eyes. Shortly after, satisfied, he looks at the other house, only meters away from him.
