Ember's pregnancy had reached the third trimester, 38 weeks, and she felt her entire body tingling and a few contractions. But she still continued to work. In the afternoon, Amayah went to Ember's shop. At the same time, Aubrey had gone out to get some lunch, so Ember was alone at the time. Ember was surprised to see Amayah inside the shop with a fierce expression.

"Amayah, what are you doing here?"

Amayah, yelling and pushing Ember. Ember was on the verge of falling, but she managed to keep her balance by holding onto the table beside her.

"Hey! What are you doing here?"

Aubrey shouted and ran to them. Amayah was taken aback by Aubrey's arrival. Aubrey approached Amayah and grabbed her chin with a fierce face.

"How dare you do such a thing to Ember? She is pregnant! Do you no longer wish to live?"

"It's okay, Aubrey. I'm fine. Let her go."

Aubrey let go of her grip and yelled, "Go! If you ever hurt Ember again, I will make sure you pay the price."

"You are all monsters!"

Amayah shouted angrily, and then she exited the shop. Aubrey really feels guilty because she left Ember alone in the shop and was attacked by Amayah.

"I'm sorry, Ember. I should not have left you alone. Are you sure you're okay?"

"Don't worry, I'm fine. Don't blame yourself; this isn't your fault."

At night in the mansion, Ember sat on the bed against the wall, reading a book. Jayden enters the room, hugs Ember's tummy, and places his head on Ember's tummy.

"What are you doing inside, my sweetie? Daddy can't wait to see you."

Ember was just staring at Jayden. When Jayden noticed Ember's reaction, he asked, "Why do you look unhappy?"

"Jayden, what made you like Amayah before?"

"What made you suddenly mention her name?"

"Nothing, I'm just curious."

Jayden sat down and stated, "I'm not sure. Maybe because I felt we were getting close. But once we started dating, I was scared. I was afraid she'd notice I was different. I was also perplexed by my feelings. I could tell she didn't really like me."

"What if she really does like you?

"Even if she really likes me, she has nothing to do with me anymore. She means nothing to me. The day we broke up. It's over between us."

Jayden stated sternly, and Ember remained silent with a gloomy face. Jayden became concerned when she appeared depressed.

"Ember, what happened to you? I'm worried about seeing you behave like this."

"Please don't compare yourself to anyone. You are everything to me. My heart is only for you. You are my wife. I really appreciate you being my wife. You accept my weaknesses and are always by my side. Nothing can compare to you."

He expressed his sincere feelings, and Ember was moved by his words, and a smile appeared on her lips. She was glad Jayden was really happy to be with her.

"Please put a smile on your face. I just want to see you smile. Your smile makes me happy."

"Okay, so therefore, you must always make me happy."

"Ok, I promise I won't make you sad. I will be struck by lightning if I break my promise."

Aubrey calls Jayden the following day. Jayden was in a car driven by Xander at the time.

"Hello, Aubrey, what's the matter?"

"Did Ember tell you anything about Amayah yesterday?"

"About Amayah. What do you mean?"

"I guess he didn't tell you."

"What is it?"

"Amayah came to our shop yesterday while Ember was alone. I'm not sure what they were talking about. But when I walked in, I saw Amayah pushing Ember, and she almost fell."

After hearing Aubrey's words, Jayden became enraged with Amayah. How dare she want to hurt Ember?

"I hope you take good care of Ember. I'm worried she's been harmed again."

"No problem."

After they hung up the phone. Xander asked when he noticed Jayden's facial expression change.

"What happened, Master?"

"Go to Amayah's house. She did something to Ember yesterday."

With a serious expression, Jayden tells Xander. So that's why suddenly she mentioned her name yesterday. But why didn't she want to tell me about the incident? She's too kind.

Jayden and Xander arrive at Amayah's house. Amayah lives in a private housing estate.

"Xander, you wait for me here."

Jayden said as he got out of the car. Jayden goes to Amayah's house and rings the doorbell. Amayah saw Jayden on the camera doorbell. Amayah was happy. She greeted Jayden cheerfully as she opened the door, and she took advantage of it to hug him.

"I wasn't expecting you to come to my house, Jayden. Do you miss me?"

"Now let go of your hug."

Jayden responded solemnly, making Amayah frown as she heard Jayden's words and let go of her hug.

"Jayden, why are you so cold to me?"

"What did you do to my wife yesterday?"

Amayah's expression changed after hearing Jayden's question. Damn it! Did that woman tell him about yesterday? She's really a bitch. Do you think I'll admit my mistake in front of Jayden? You are the one who's wrong, not me.

"Jayden, what are you talking about? I.. I don't understand. What have I done?"

"Listen, Amayah. If you dare to approach my wife again, you will pay the price."

Jayden was threatening her, and it really made her burst into anger.

Amayah burst into tears, and Jayden said as he held Amayah's chin.

"Poor woman, whatever you say, I am already married to someone. You must be aware of your place. Never bother us again. My heart is only for my wife; it's Ember."

Jayden turned and walked away, leaving Amayah's house. Amayah cried out in rage and jealousy. She's hit, throwing things inside her house to release her anger.

"I do really like you. You should be mine! Not with that ugly bitch! I swear I won't make her happy, I'll make her regret stealing you from me!!"
