Chapter 35: Gang

Mel's PoV

I just hope this week my older brother will wake up. I prepared my things because I'm going to leave. It's Monday so I have to go to school, shortly after I get there by jeepney.

"Good morning ma'am," the guard greeted so I just bowed in respect to him. I'm not in the mood to be honest with what they say. I have arrived and everything but my expression hasn't at all. I just tried to focus my attention even though I was really against it.

The third class ended without me even learning anything there. I was too lazy to go to the bathroom to wash my hands and then go straight to the canteen.

"Oh what? How is your brother?" Liz asked in front of me now.

"He's there at his bed peacefully sleeping," I replied jokingly but she probably knew what I wanted to convey.

"You're really crazy," she said and we stood up together to buy food.

"You alright?" she asked worriedly.

"Huh? Of course," I answered and went ahead because I was the next buyer.
