28 Haunted Hour Part 3

The present time

Her finger was at the trigger.

Alexis’ eyes just focused on the gun that her father reversed the direction to her chest and moved to the hole at his cheek, up to his brown eyes, and down to his mouth. His lips were gradually dry and he revealed the smile that urge her to move the trigger. The warmth that she mistook for the warmth of her father faded away and the cold replaced which hurt to the bone.

I’m tired.

She wanted to end everything but her finger turned to stone. Deep in her heart, it was fear to go. At the same time, with every breath, she was in pain with this strange world.

“Wake up”

Like cold water pouring on her face, Alexis pushed Zombie Caleb away and he almost fell and had to readjust his post. It still tried to meet her eyes and creepily smiled. The evil laughter was similar to Charlie’s haunted. She raised the gun to the fake Caleb. “You’re not him.”

Oddly, it was satisfied.
