With the letter still in my hands I place my head on my favourite pillow and let Alex take my hand in his. He wraps me up in a hug while I take in my surroundings.

We are standing in the middle of a field with the sun setting on the horizon. "I love you Cam…"

the Unraveling

"Rise and shine sleepy head." I voice next to me whisper in my ear. "Let me sleep. Please." I beg while turning away from the voice. 


I didn't want to be left alone last night , so I asked Cameron to come and sleep with me last night and like the awesome brother he is , he obeyed his sister's wishes and had a sleep over with her and by her I mean me. 


"You have school today and if you want to prove to Stacey that you don't need her. You need to go to school today." He says. 


"Fine." I say getting out of my bed. Dragging my feet across the room to my bathroom. 


I undressed and went to turn on the warm water. While the steam is filling the bathroom my mind dwells on how sad and pathetic my life is. Why does all these bad shit always seem to only happen to me? Like there ain't other people that also need their fair share of pain. 


20 minutes later I get out of the shower. I only dry my hair with a towel and leave it down to air dry naturally , while I get dressed.
