Chapter 28

The cool feeling latching onto my cheek from the window gives me a wave of calmness.

It's been raining for a while now and the droplets rolling down the window is just fascinating.

Each one more crystal like than the other.

We've turned off onto a gravel road awhile ago. It's rather smoother than I thought initially.

I'm rather tired on the other hand. The stress of all the commotion of the last few days has really gotten to me and I haven't even realized it.

Until now.

My mental state is in a way better position that it has been , but I'm physically drained and the realization is like a lightning bolt , fast and instant.

I can feel my eyes getting droopy.

Before I know it they flutter shut in a peaceful slumber.

I can hear my name being called in a soft tone. The touch on my arm burns , but in a good way.

My eyes flutter open and infront of me the wooden house in all it's glory.
