Chapter forty seven

Vivienne stood beside Arty as they watched the waves. "This place holds memories, doesn't it?"

 

 Vivienne nodded and smiled. "Of course."

 

 "I can still remember your surfer guy love you used to be crazy about. It's a bad thing that you didn't get to talk to him for once."

 

 "I did—"

 

 Arty facepalmed. "Oh no. Don't tell me about that one time you were lucky to prepare his order for him. For crying out loud, he didn't talk to you. Scratch that out. You guys never talked."

 

 Vivienne folded her arms and pouted like a little kid that had been denied ice cream. Arty laughed and pulled his cheek.

 

 Talking about Surfer boys, one was currently riding the waves as the ladies cheered at him. Vivienne tried her best to look unimpressed as he expertly rode the ocean waves.
