Chapter sixty one

 Vivienne shrugged and swallowed her noodles before she replied. "No, Pope. You're doing the best you can do and even more for my company. I appreciate that."

 

 "I have to go, Vivienne. We'd talk later on facetime."

 

 Vivienne chuckled. Pope wasn't used to being appreciated and each time he was, he would awkwardly wave it off and try to change topics. Vivienne knew what he was doing and she let him be.

 

 By the time she was done eating, it was nearly evening and she remembered the time Luis had told her to be at the bar.

 

 She checked her digital clock as she entered her room. It was nearly six in the evening and she needed to dress up, knowing how blind she could be to time.

 

 Contemplating if she should take another bath, she walked into her closet and picked out a nice dress since a band was coming. She needed to dress the part and a dark sequined dress from the eighties would do justice to her look.
