Chapter seventy two

With her earbuds plugged in her ears, she tapped on her favorite playlist and music streamed into her ears. She looked around her, noticing people as they walked into various shops and restaurants. She felt like she was floating in the air.

 Vivienne decided to take a long walk. She was going to go through the alleyway and burst out of the main street that led to her apartment and it was going to take another five minutes.

 Vivienne, as she walked through the alleyway, bopping her head to the vibey music playing, she didn't notice two men that blended with the dark alleyway. She would have noticed if she was wary of her environment but she was too absorbed in the music she was listening to notice.

 Both of the men turned to each other and signaled to themselves. The first nodded and began following her while the other one waited.
