Chapter one hundred and two

As soon as the call ended in Amelia's ear, it dropped on the couch and she felt herself crumple to the ground as she sobbed.

 Nothing felt right.

Her parents visiting, calling Vivienne, being with Gavin, going to rh company everyday, taking Jewel Goddess away from her only true friend. Nothing felt right.

For the whole night, she tossed in her bed while she kept awake. From time to time, she opened her phone to check the time. She couldn't wait for the morning to come so she could visit Gavin and tell him that she wasn't interested in being with him or the company again. She really needed to do that.

When she finally slept, it was five o'clock in the morning so she had just three hours' sleep before she woke up to get ready for work.

Gavin's apartment was her first stop. She knocked on his door severally but he didn't open up so she used his keys.
