Chapter one hundred and eight

Pope was just getting home after a few moments at the diner where he got to a diner.

 

 A car had been tailing him but he had no idea. He was more engrossed in the music he was listening to and the idea of having to eat Chinese take out as usual. It excited him.

 

 Once he had driven into the parking lot, he picked up the brown paper bag containing his dinner and shut his car door.

 

 From behind him, a car had just cruised to halt and double tinted windows wound down to reveal a man dressed in all black with a black shade and a black baseball hat. Pope was yet to see him.

 

 As Pope got into the elevator, the man followed suit. Pope noticed for the first time that he had someone with him in the elevator. Pope nodded at the man in greeting and focused on his business of getting to his floor.
