Meeting Shen Xiu

"Yes," Huyan Lanruo's body got excited as she saw Alan's smile. She tried her best to control her body's reactions while speaking up, "Elder Ming mentioned that the president of the Alchemy Association was so excited that he wanted Nie Li to give up on his path as a Demon Spiritualist and focus on his Alchemy Path! The Alchemy Association was ready to use all its resources to groom Nie Li."

"However, Nie Li rejected that offer. The President of the Alchemy Association accepted it and still made Nie Li join the Alchemy Association. The President of the Alchemy Association further promised Nie Li that he would assist him regardless of the task."

Suddenly, he felt something pressing against his back. Two large globes of flesh that were extremely soft were pressing against Alan's back.

He felt Huyan Lanruo's hands snaking her way around Alan's waist as she hugged him tightly. She whispered near his ear with a husky tone, "Why are you in a hurry to leave? Let's talk some more."

"And what do you want to talk about," Alan spoke.

"Let's continue what we were doing yesterday," Huyan Lanruo whispered softly. "You mentioned that liking you has a huge price. Can you reject me even when we are like this?" She asked.

"Release me and find out," Alan cheekily spoke.

Huyan Lanruo hesitated for a brief period before she released Alan.

After she released Alan, he turned in her direction and tilted towards her. His mouth continued to come closer, and Huyan Lanruo panicked for a brief second.

She instinctively closed her eyes as she prepared for a kiss with Alan. However, that kiss never occurred. Instead, Huyan Lanruo felt a breath on her ear and a faint whisper, "If you want me to act, you better get naked."

Huyan Lanruo immediately opened her eyes and was shocked to see that Alan was no longer present.

She blushed deeply as her mind finally registered Alan's words. He managed to tease her once again!

Huyan Lanruo had never experienced so many consecutive losses against someone like that. She urgently wanted to win, but she wouldn't accept Alan's suggestion just like that. This was a cheap move.

If Alan knew what Huyan Lanruo was thinking, he would have a disdainful sneer. This woman had even used a Charm Technique to manipulate his mind. His suggestion was far lighter than that. At least she wouldn't be manipulating someone's mind like that.

After leaving the Holy Orchid Academy, Alan gathered information about Yang Xin. Apparently, she was a beautiful and talented alchemist. She was an orphan and had used her skill and hard work to reach the position of director.

He had to do something to secretly turn her to his side. Alan could then use her to inhibit Nie Li.

Her relationship with Nie Li couldn't be very deep, considering that the two had barely interacted.

However, Alan was worried that Nie Li had asked the Alchemy Association to stay away from the Sacred Family. Or maybe the people in Alchemy Association will inform Nie Li if Alan approaches them.

The only way to prevent Yang Xin from informing Nie Li regarding Alan would be if she was already tilted towards Alan. But this was impossible right now.

So, Alan had to find a way to tilt her favorability in his favor. But when he thought in this direction, Alan grew more disappointed.

Alan returned to the Sacred Family and discovered that Shen Xiu had recovered from her injuries! She would come to the Fighter Apprentice Class to take the rest of her classes.

Alan didn't want that to occur. However, he knew that she wouldn't leave the Sacred Family's premises now, so it would be impossible to injure her.

Thus, Alan gathered a lot of Inscription Scrolls before heading to Shen Xiu's room.

"Aunt, I wanted to talk to you," Alan spoke while knocking on the door.

Shen Xiu immediately responded, "Come inside." The tone was rather respectful.

Alan entered the room. His eyes instantly fell on Shen Xiu, who was lying on her body. She was wearing a blue dress which was a bit similar to the one she wore when she came to take their class.

The strip covering her underwear was a bit disheveled, and Alan perceived a red color behind that blue strip.

Alan didn't mention it and slowly approached the bed. He turned the chair towards the bed and sat on it before speaking, "Aunt, I have come here to give you my good wishes on recovering back to full health."

"Thank you," Shen Xiu responded happily. She noticed there was something different about Alan now. He seemed much more pleasing to the eye, and his face had gotten much better. She got the feeling of a man from him.

"…How would you like to get injured again?" Alan asked Shen Xiu with a grin.

Shen Xiu's eyes widened as she heard that statement. She thought she had misheard and asked Alan, "W-What did you say, nephew?"

"Are you deaf? I questioned you if you want to get injured again or not?" Alan spoke with a wicked grin on his face.
