Final funeral

Villager all came for funeral the funeral as to show respect to our family but people also started the rumors about Macwary house and about suspicious continues death. Within two weeks there were three death. All three of them were found dead in suspicious ways. Leaving church I saw fear in my mother's eyes. Dad and mom went to meet Father Benadict, when they came back I saw that my mom's fear grew stronger than before and my dad seemed worried. Father Benadict told Mathew and I to run if it's necessary and don't wait for anyone or anything. I didn't understood what he said. Coming back to the empty house, Mr. Peter came in to tell that he is leaving to his relatives house far way for Mrs. Martha's treatment. She was becoming worse as day goes by, she was scared of something but she never spoke of it. While leaving she clutched on my hands and told me with tumbling voice "you should run, it's watching you" she gave me her rosary and left. The house was silent, sun start to set. That night we all went to bed early. But unusually my father asked all of us to sleep in one room. My mom put Mrs. Martha's rosary on our room door knob. We all set are eye to shut. When I was slipping into my sleep I heard that suddenly throbing sound from outside our room. Something was trying to get inside, then there was this silence. I saw fear in my dad's face, then dad decided to go out and check, my brother followed him despite mom's protest. My mom closed the door and put the rosary back, we kept waiting for them to come back then there was this weird silence from outside. And suddenly knock, that was my dad, he asked to open the door, my mom stopped her prayers and rush to open. She let my dad in and closed the door fast. His shirt was splashed with blood, his had was seemed like broken and his head was bleeding. He was gasping for air then he called my mom "Ruth!".

"Paul, where is Mathew?" mom asked.

"Ruth, that evil creature is there , it took our Mathew, I chased it, only to see that monster tearing him apart in front of me. I couldn't do anything"

"Ruth, I have to get you both out of here" telling that he hugged both of us in his arms.

My mom took some money and holy water from cupboard and told "Kath, I want you to promise no matter what happens outside, no matter what you hear or see, I want to to run away. Don't wait for us or look back"

I just nodded my head. My mom took rosary from the door and the main door key. We kept heading toward the door, suddenly I heard my dad scream, I was about to turn but my mother pushed me forward. Later my mom knew it was her or me next so she open the bottle with holy water and poured some on door and rest through out my body. We hear something approaching from up so she rushed to open the door to outside then she handed me money, rosary and key "close the door and run" before I could think she pushed me and locked from inside.

"mom, come with me, please open the door"

"no honey it's too late, please I want you have to run out of this place"

I closed the door with tears rolling down and put the rosary. The ran to the gate and I couldn't hear my mom's voice, I didn't turn back, I kept running to the gate. When I got out I looked back to my house I saw something kept staring at me through one of the upstair window. That stare brought coldness throughout my body.

To keep the promises I kept walking away.
