<|Jasmine's POV|>

"Cadets! Are you all prepared for your mission?" Ironwood called out in front of Penny, Kim, 2B and Touka, whose team was named T2PK, read as Toothpick. This was obviously not something Ironwood made, but something I "suggested", much to the embarrassment of my friends and girlfriend.

After successfully "infiltrating" their ranks, I was able to easily change Ironwood's memories about us and I quickly had one of the operators make us temporary identities, with Touka, Kim and 2B being students of Atlas Academy, while Marinette, Esdeath and I were Atlas Academy graduates and were a branch group that worked in the shadows aimed at gaining information.

""Yes sir!"" 2B, Penny, and Kim had their military experience, so they were able to easily make a perfect salute, while Touka slightly lagged behind, but only for a moment, and the hardened General didn't notice it.

"Good! In a week's time, it does not matter if you win the tournament, but you are still encouraged to win for the sake of Atlas Academy. We could use the publicity." Turning around, Ironwood looked out of the massive window panes that gave us a wide view of Vale below us, along with the Amity Colosseum. Honestly, a floating piece of land wasn't something I'd trust. It just seemed so easy to bring it down.

"Now, off you go. You can leave your stations, but be sure to continue your training and be °prepared° for an attack. The hostiles are quite unpredictable." With his permission, team T2PK went out of the meeting room while the three of us followed along.

As we left the meeting room, 2B suddenly punched my shoulder, which was largely protected by my instinctive use of my aura, but I still felt some pain from it. Turning to face 2B, she unexpectedly had a frown on her face.

"That's for the stupid name." Hearing this, I forgot the pain in my shoulder and just laughed merrily, which was soon quickly followed by the rest with varying degrees of intensity. Wrapping an arm around 2B's shoulders, I gave her a one-armed hug.

"Sorry, sorry. It's not easy making a name when you're unoriginal and have like, basic knowledge of color names." I was going to blame their name on the lack of vowels, but I quickly realized that RWBY, CRDL, CFVY and JNPR had no vowels.

"Hmph." Was the reply of 2B, but she still definitely accepted my apology.

"Anyway, why don't you show us around Vale, Penny?" Once the suggestion left my mouth, Penny squealed as she dashed forward, pulling 2B, along with me, using her surprising strength.

Traveling around Vale was an experience, especially for Esdeath. It seemed she was somewhat uncomfortable with all the happy people going on about with their lives, but she kept an open-mind and was honestly curious with how a normal city compares to the Empire. As per tradition at this point, we went to visit each stall and restaurant we can. If it were a normal group of friends, their wallets would have surely been empty at this point, but our honestly near obsession of getting stronger and abuse of the group time-stop whenever we went on Side Missions earned us a hefty sum of extra Coins we can freely use to convert to Lien to buy whatever we want.

"Penny?" When someone outside of our group called out our leader's name, we obviously went to check out the source. And to my absolute delight, it was team RWBY! There, entering the quaint little cafe, was the four main heroines of RWBY!

As always when I meet the main cast of any anime/movies/videogames, it was a surreal experience.

Weiss Schnee, the snobby ice princess, was like a smaller version of Esdeath, who would more likely be a bitch than go for blood.

Blake Belladonna, the cat faunus, was the stereotype of mysterious beauty, and god was her ass gorgeous! You can even fucking see it from the front! Bellabooty indeed!

Yabg Xiao-Long, the fiery beauty herself, was definitely a woman gorgeous woman, and her hair looked absolutely fabulous!

Then, the main girl herself, Ruby Rose, was absolutely adorable! There was just something so endearing about seeing the cute girl wearing badass clothes and could run laps around you!

"Ruby! Hi! I haven't seen you in a while! Come join us!" Penny, always the excitable gal, called them over.

Somewhat reluctant, Ruby asked, "Are you sure? You're with your...friends right now."

Seeing the apprehension, the kinder ones of the group, Kim and Marinette plus me, simply waved away her concerns. Esdeath, for her part, was somewhat peeved, but was still playing nice, while Touka was watching the girls with apprehension, most likely due to me. Still, seeing that they were being invited, they had no choice but to join. As the group sat on the table beside ours, Weiss went to get their orders.

"So, Ruby, how have you been? The last time we met we hadn't had enough time to speak with one another!" With Penny's question, I can only guess that this was when Blake and Weiss had their argument.

Rubbing the back of her head, Ruby awkwardly answered. "Yeah, sorry about that. After we had that fight at the docks we just had so much to do. Sorry for not at least giving you a call."

Accepting Ruby's sincerity, Penny absolutely °beemed°, and from Esdeath's reaction, I could only roll my eyes amusedly as she finally took in the greatness of Penny. If I didn't know any better, Esdeath would fucking court every woman who just smiles at her without any hostility and showing just a tiny bit of purity. Touka, though, noticed Esdeath's reaction, and could only snort at it.

Then, in return to Penny's smile, the other redhead retaliated with her own smile, and at that point I was pretty sure Esdeath had ascended to a hire plan. Truthfully, I both understand this and not. I don't understand how a °smile° so simple and pure can make you react °this° much. I mean, I myself feel my heart skip a beat when someone smiles at me so affectionately, but that's just it. Though when I catch a glimpse of a girl's armpits? That's where I feel like I have ascended. Still, I won't kink shame the woman, not when I have some rather questionable kinks myself.

"So, Penny, are they your...team?" This question from Yang had brought me out of my thoughts, making me focus on the ice cream I bought. It was kind of bland, since we usually ate at the Shokugeki no Soma world, but ice cream was ice cream.

"Yes! My teammates are Touka, 2B, and Kim! Together we're team Toothpick!" With the way Penny so eagerly announced her team name, I immediately °lost° it! It was so pure, so adorable, and so fucking °hilarious°! Was it stupid? Yes. Was it childish? Fuck yeah. Was it funny? Definitely.

And I was definitely not just the only one laughing. Yang was trying her best to keep her laugher in to be polite, but Esdeath along with Marinette was laughing along with me while the other three just began dying out of embarrassment.

"Ne-hahaha! Never change, Penny. Never change." As my laughter slowly subsided, uncaring with the annoyed-turned-charmed glances we were receiving, I was, once again, suddenly hit on the shoulder.

Turning to the returning fist, I saw that it was from Kim, whose face was redder than her hair. Pitying her just a tiny bit, I just pulled the older woman into a hug. She squirmed and tried to escape, but I just kept on apologizing in between my laughter. Eventually, I finally stopped laughing as Kim's annoying repeated soft flicks to my head started to hurt.

"That's a rather...interesting name." Blake, who was somewhat calm during the whole ordeal, completely ignored our outburst, trying to strike up a conversation.

"Yep! Jasmine named our team!" Revealing this, I suddenly gained three curious eyes on me.

"Hey! I told you it wasn't easy to make a color out of your names!" Once they realized that I had named their team, team R_BY was definitely shocked.

"How come you got to name their team!? Huh!! Are you a teacher!? The Principal!? You look too young and gorgeous to be an old woman slaving away their life!" Ruby's rather weird description put a smile on my face, and due to that I did my best to reach for her head from my spot to give her a pat, surprising her.

"Oho~? Gorgeous you say? Fufufufu, that's quite flattering! It's really nice when I get compliment led like that." I jokingly eyed my girlfriend as I said that, receiving a pout for my effort. Touka wasn't good at dealing with feelings and showing it, rarely does she compliment me, but that was fine for me. I can just competent her for the both of us.

Then, being the shy girl that she is, Ruby easily flushed red like the tips of her hair while her sister chuckled behind her at her plight.

"Anyway, the good 'ol General was having a hard time finding a name for them as well, so I just pitched in the first thing I thought of. Since he's more lax than your Headmaster, he just let it be. And, as you've said, I'm too young to be a teacher, and I'm definitely not the Principal of Atlas Academy. I'm just a low time grunt among the Atlas Military's ranks." At the mention of being part of the Atlas Military, Blake flinched slightly, but I noticed it as I have been discreetly gouging her reaction while her two friends looked a bit worried for her.

Just ad things were going to get awkward, Weiss came in with their orders.

"Hmph. You didn't even help me carry the tray. I'm already paying for all this and I don't receive even a single help." The Ice Princess complained as I took a look at her single tray, which had a single large bowl of nachos with its sides and a number for their other orders. If Weiss were to ever look down from her upturned nose, she would have noticed my deadpanned look. Laughing awkwardly, Yang started to eat the nachod.

"Soo....." Ruby trailed off, obviously looking for a topic, and feeling ny fellow introvert having a hard time, I immediately went in to help.

"Are you girls ready for the tournament?" Shifting the subject to something easier to talk about, Ruby readily bit into it.

"Heck yeah! We've been training so hard for it! We have cool team moves, upgraded our weapons and I even did my homework before hand!" Stars appeared in Ruby's eyes as spoke so passionately, and I had to squeeze Esdeath's hands to keep my squeal in check. And guessing from how tightly Esdeath was squeezing mine, we were both affected by the younger girl's cuteness! Did I just find my life-long bestie? I sure hope so!

"Ahem." Sadly, Weiss's interruption ruined the purity Ruby was showing as her spirits was suddenly brought down.

"Ehehe...yeah, I did like, 45 percent of 'em?" Now that we were blessed with Ruby's adorableness, it must be brought back! Fortunately for Esdeath, I knew just how to do that.

"That's pretty cool. Too bad I can't upgrade my Sizzy." I casually unlatched my Scissor Sword and enlarged it, suddenly putting the girl in a trance. And fortunately, this was a Huntsman cafe, so no one was panicking at the sudden appearance of a weapon, but we of course began receiving furtive glances and some wary glares.

"That's so cool!!! How did you make something so small so big!!?" Hah! "I know some mech-shift weapons that can go to upto as small as 30 percent of its original size, but this was definitely too small for that, and it enlarged so smoothly!" Hah!

"Okay. Time out with the questions!" Yang, noticing her younger sister's questionable questions, quickly pulled her away. Even the regal Weiss was somewhat embarrassed by Ruby's questions while Blake was silently chuckling.

Still, I decided to milk this for what it's worth and said, "It can get bigger if you give it lots of love." At this line Yang gave me a mean glare, put I just raised both hands as I placed Sizzy on the table to show that I was simply joking.

After that we just had a friendly conversation until RWBY had to go back to Beacon.
