End Of The Game

He didn't realize at the time but she would die for him. They both have been hunting each other for years, always a near miss. But deep down both were prolonging each other's death, until the other admits their feelings. Their undying love for each other, made from hatred. The hatred of their genders, of their families, of their profession. Rivals from the start, in their blood.

Another night came and he could spell blossoms blossoming, the rush of sweetness in the air. Intoxicating. He knew she was near, he wanted another near miss but didn't want hurt her. She felt same way. As Jax looked up he saw the most spectacular being in the world. Weak in the knees, he held himself up to show no weakness.

Slowly grabbing his gun, Tes walked towards him seductively, like a tiger approaching her pray.

"Put that down before you end up in your grave." She said with a smirk.

"Why are you here?" He said as he put down the fun. "Another attempt at killing me?"

"No. We've been playing this game long enough."

Jax's heart started racing in his chest, is she finally ending their tango?…

Tes approached him, wrapping her arms around his neck. Something unusual about this time, usually is threatening but now it's oddly comforting.

"Boy don't look surprised. You know exactly how we feel about each other." She smiled.

"We are rivals and nothing more. What feelings are you on about?" He asked, knowing exactly what she's on about.

Her hand traced his neck before she spoke, "Jax, for crying out loud. We've had hundreds of near misses. We can't kill each other…. I can't live without you." Her voice slowly lowered as she admitted she loved him.

"You can't?…"

She shook her head.

"Neither can I…"

"Finally we can end this game of ours. But I did enjoy it." She smirked.

He knew that they would never stop fighting, or attempting to kill each other. But they both knew no serious harm would come to one another. They also knew they were safe with one another, no one could hurt the most dangerous assassins in the world.
