Ribbet

An hour passed, a few fruits caught his eye which he picked, he saw some large eyed, small bodied mammals watching him at points which he avoided, his pace had become slow as he had to follow the solid ground more and more, the water getting deep enough to fill his boots in places.

Passing one such area he saw the large body of a snake slither beneath the surface, given its size he was certain this would be an even bigger threat than the jaguar. The idea of pouring some lightning into the pool did cross his mind but he didn't think it was worth the risk of just angering something of a higher level.

"I think I'm well and truly out of the safe area God prepared, best not to chance it any more than I am doing."
