"No matter how painful it is you should be able to share it with me. The pain is still stuck up in your heart whether you share it or not, why burden yourself of bearing it alone?
"Please tell me everything and who knows I might be of help. Mark let out a deep sigh, "Okay here we go".....
******Twenty Seven years ago*******
My mother was a maid at the Wilson mansion. She needed the job to support her mother and sister. My father at that time was the first son of the Wilson Family he had a younger brother Oliver Wilson and my father Henry Wilson was the heir to the Wilson Family empire. Their father at that time was a very strict and heartless man who cared about power, he married them off to women from powerful families to expand his business.
My step mother was from the Reyes family and my Uncle Oliver married my Aunt Stacy she was also from wealthy family. My Uncle had luck because he happened to marry the love of his life but my Dad had to live a life of misery because he had no feelings for his wife. He was in love with my mother who was a mere maid.
He couldn't bring himself to confront his Dad because he was scared he would loose all his rights as the rightful heir of the Wilson Family. My mother's misery began when she found out she was pregnant with me. She told my father about it but he couldn't marry her and give her the luxury of being Mrs Wilson, all he did was to provide for her. Along the way my step mother found out through Aunty Stacy and she did everything possible to make my mother loose her baby.
My mother and I live in that house as servants. Jeffery used to sneak out of his room every night to come visit me in the servant quarters, because during the day he had no option but to pretend like my very existence disgusted him. Unfortunately for my step mother she couldn't have any children with my father so my Grandpa became agitated. My father saw that as an opportunity and decided to reveal the truth about my mother and I to my Grandpa.
Unbeknownst to him my Grandpa didn't take it lightly and over his dead body will he accept an illegitimate bastard of his son. We were thrown out of the house at night, it was raining so bad,my father stood there not being able to do anything. I was only six years then, Jeffery wouldn't stop crying,he begged his Dad to do something about it but my uncle Oliver stood there not being able to do anything as well. My Uncle loved me genuinely you know. Grandpa landed a slap on Jeffrey's face for throwing a tantrum and at that moment I knew that it would be best if I stayed away from him.
We left the mansion to my mother's hometown, and as if our problems wasn't enough my mother found out two months later that she was pregnant. She couldn't control her tears that day. My mother died three years later after giving birth to Tiwa. We had no one, I had to do everything in my power to raise and take care of my little sister.
On Tiwa's sixteen birthday we found out that our father had died and all the property was transferred to my Uncle Oliver. Uncle Oliver tried his best to coax us into helping us but I refused."Aurora everything I own today is due to my hardwork."
I didn't need any help then and I don't think I will ever need help even today.
I worked hard to prove to my Grandpa that I was worthy of being a son of the family. "As of today he doesn't even have the guts to face me."
"Aurora wiped the tears on her face not able to comprehend what she just heard. "Your Grandpa is still alive?
"Yes he is, Jackson Wilson. He lives in the Wilson Family Runch situated at the country side of Washington.
