Author's Reincarnation in a Fantasy Setting

Some of the people present there quickly gathered around the entrance of the bar, blocking Ed's only escape route.

Without saying anything three men men jumped toward Ed and me but before they could reach there Akumi shifted from his position and stood in front of us, working as an obstacle between us and those men.

"Sorry, but I'll be taking him outta here," he said.

There was no hesitation from the other side. All three of them unsheathed their swords and charged at Akumi. From how they were coordinating with each other it seemed like they were from the same group or knew each other.

Although no matter how perfectly coordinated it wasn't going to work on Akumi. He changed his stance and delivered an upright kick, in a swoop he knocked their swords away leaving them barehanded.
