Seoul

After a long flight, we are finally here to start our new journey. After getting out of the airport, I felt the fresh air and the quiet and peaceful environment.

We booked the cab to the apartment that the company offered. The apartment is quite far from the airport but much near the company. It's so near that one can reach there while walking.

Our apartment building is tall, beautiful, and in the middle of the market. One can find cafes, shopping centres, and grocery stores easily approachable. We entered the building which has 20 floors in it and ours is 16th floor.

We took the lift and waited to reach the 16th floor. Rita was very excited and amused and I was shocked to see the company's luxury. I never imagined living in a place like this.

Once we entered our room, our eyes pop out at the view of it. The building and its surrounding area are just trailers. The climax part is the apartment. It is a very big apartment consisting of 3 bedrooms, a modular kitchen and detailed furnishing. The drawing room has glass doors attached to a balcony giving a full view of Seoul.

Rita was so excited about the apartment running from one room to other. She was fast to choose the biggest room for her and started unpacking her belongings. She makes sure to set up everything before we both get into the fight for bedrooms.

Letting Rita do her thing, I started unpacking my things in the other room when we heard the doorbell ring. We rushed to the main door to open it. A man was standing in front of us with a flower bouquet.

The man was tall and handsome in casual attire. He was wearing big specs and earing in one ear. He is a netizen. He smiled and introduced himself:

" Hello (An nyeong ha seyo), I'm Park Chan-yeol, from FLASH. I'll be your guide for a few days to let you settle down well here."

The way he speaks is very polite but outgoing. He moved forward to give me the flower bouquet but I took a step back declining the bouquet. He was shocked by my action. I noticed his uneasiness and replied fast:

"Sorry, don't mind but I'm allergic to flowers. I apologise for my sudden behaviour please come in."

He goes back to his normal mood knowing the fact of my flower allergy and took my invitation happily. He came in and sat in the drawing room while I offered him the drinks.

Rita was very quiet, enjoying the beautiful man in front of her. She didn't utter a single word since she saw Chan-yeol. So it was me who has to do all the talking. Chan-yeol also looks interested in Rita or maybe he felt uneasy with the way she stared and smiled at him continuously.

I asked them to behave normally when she came near to me and whispered:

"He is so dreamy, just look at his smile. He will be your future brother-in-law, keep that in mind."

Rita was always flirtatious since her teenage days and was full of boys around her. She is beautiful and smart making everyone amazed her. However, the way she speaks so casually makes me choke myself with embarrassment. I'm an introverted person and it takes a lot of time to be comfortable around things and people.

While she whispered in my ear, I glanced at Chan-yeol and he was confused by our conversation as we are speaking in Hindi. I nervously smiled at him and asked:

"So, are you at work today?"

"No, I was asked to greet the new employees and accompany them to the company for their first day. So, I came here today to get each other to know better."

He replied with a soft tone of voice. Rita finally replied:

"What a gentleman. You are right to come here"

Chan-yeol smiled at her and the way he is smiling, he is interested in her as well. He replied:

"Thank you (Gomawoyo), I will be escorting you tomorrow to the workplace. For a few days, I'm going to help you with the work surroundings and your colleagues."

We both thanked Chan-yeol for his nice gesture and talked about Seoul and the company for half an hour. He then offered us to go for lunch in a nearby restaurant.

Rita looks excited to go out with him and asked me to change fast. I was not looking out to going anywhere on our first day. So I declined the offer and insisted Rita and Chan-yeol go together.

Hearing me decline, Rita took the lunch as a date in her mind and rushed fast into her room to change clothes. Within a few minutes, she appeared in a nice dress clinging well to her.

Chan-yeol was also staring at her with admiration. They both then left for lunch and I consumed my work with the apartment. It took me almost 2 hours just to set up my wardrobe and other belongings.

I finally took a break and made instant noodles which I found in the hamper provided by the company. I sat on the sofa and put on the television to see the news. All the channels on television are Korean whereas I expected Indian channels. Stupid me.

I'm very fond of K-pop and K-dramas, so I find Korean convenient for me. I'm a news person who likes to stay updated with the world. I keep switching to some channels finally able to land on a news channel.

Most news channels are covering a sport. It was a boxing match and every news channel is focusing on one player. The crowd cheered the name HANA! HANA!

It was a typical boxing match just like we saw in movies. I saw the clips of two women and a referee in a ring fighting with each other. The crowd is continuously cheering on the name HANA. I wonder who she is as I saw the two women in front of me.

I saw the referee signalling, both women were fighting aggressively with each other. It was a really quick match as one player among the two was fast with her game. She dodged the punches of her opponent and attacked quickly after dodging.

Now the crowd cheered more loudly and happily. I assumed their cheering because of the player called HANA. The referee took the hand of the winning player and put it up to let everyone know about the winner.

The player pulled off her helmet and I saw a beautiful woman with a toned but muscular body. She has a sharp jawline which looks perfect with her French braids.

She was smiling and jumping on the ring as the crowd cheered for her. It looks like everyone is fond of her. This way, she looks nice. My doorbell rings as I was watching television. I instantly stood up and saw Rita and Chan-yeol back from their lunch.

They both came in and sat on the couch. Chan-yeol looked at the television featuring the boxing match. He instantly got excited and asked me:

"You are also interested in Boxing? Who won the match anyway?"

"No, I was just exploring the news channel and found this. It was a player named HANA. Do you know her?"

I asked the question. Chan-yeol gazed at me and replied:

"Do I know her? Are you kidding me? She is the talk of the town not only in Korea but worldwide. She took the internet by storm. Brands want her. How can you not know her yet? She is a boxer, famous for her reflexive skills and winning several matches against her opponents within minutes."

He replied with an excited and happy tone. She doesn't look as good as he says about her. Anyway, I smiled and switched off the television. He screamed:

"Hey...why did you switch it off? I was watching it."

I replied:

"Arghhh...it's just a match and another player. Also, it is just news, not the whole match. You can watch it again on highlights. I'm sure she is famous enough to get her match highlights."

Chan-yeol half jumped on the couch facing me and said:

"You are very sarcastic. Also, Hana is not only a famous player, but she also runs her boxing academy which is unisex. You should also join the academy maybe then you might get lucky to see her face to face."

"No thanks, I'm very comfortable not doing silly things at all and you are seeing her on television or the internet. How do you know if she is nice or not?"

I answered while trying to give him full-fact insights. However, he disagreed with me and hence, and we ended up arguing for a few minutes. He seems like a die-hard fan of the boxer as he was trying to make me like her too.

We were bickering when Rita showed up after changing her clothes and asked why we argued. Chan-yeol keeps on saying and explaining the situation. Rita laughed but took his side to show a similar interest in him.

I sighed and excused myself in the end and gets back to my bedroom. After a long day, I just wanted to sleep and start a new day of work. I took out a book to read as it helps me to sleep better and faster.

After some time Rita entered my room and lay down next to me. She stared straight at me until I looked at her. We both stared at each other for a moment and laughed. She then said:

"It's our first day here meeting the first person and you decided to end up in an argument?"

"I didn't start the argument, it was all Chan-yeol. I normally asked a question. He was being stupid to fight over someone he doesn't know."

I replied to Rita. She replied:

"Oh, he was very much determined to prove you wrong and get the boxer into your good books. He even asked to join her academy. We should try it once."

"Ohhh.....no no no...there is no way I'll go there also, stop taking his side. I know you like him. How can you fall for someone in one day? He is your other fling for sure."

I replied with a sarcastic tone. She looks at me for a moment knowing the fact of being true. She answered while stammering:

"What...n.n....n...noooooo.....He is not a fling but my true love this time. You just count the days till our marriage day comes."

I rolled my eyes and resumed my reading. She waited for me to say something and fall asleep after some time. After a while, I fall asleep beside her.
