"No, you can go and fight them, I was just here for my son."

A straight denial, much to my dismay. But understandable considering how selfish the man was. Which was not something to make fun of, but it didn't stop me from shouting "Coward." Although, my words didn't sound out properly, due to my apparent lack of tongue.

Maisel also knew full well that even with the boost in strength that Remira just experienced all of a sudden, in front of Arch-level enemies, she stands no chance unless a pseudo-Archmage like Maisel helps her.

So she growled, trying once again to make Maisel move. But all she got was denial as Maisel started to come closer to me, leaving the beast like Remira with nothing to do, but fall on all four and pursue her target.

Her nose already told her that the target was close to escaping and seeing that Maisel refused to help. She can only do things on her own.
