The God of Jesters

There were no lies in the soldier's words. Farhad was currently under their jurisdiction and any action on his end will look bad upon them. So they can't allow him to harm anyone, specifically the Radiant who were fellow compatriots of theirs after the recent alliance was formed.

This is why they brought out the eel, a small eel that appeared harmless to most, but the moment it appeared, Farhad backed off for a bit. "I… that is useless. I…" Farhad paused, looking toward the injured Remira, before saying. "I don't intend to harm her."

This eel might seem harmless, which in truth it was. But it's the power that this eel held that made others shiver. "I am just ensuring you don't make a wrong move." The general spoke, looking at Remira and slowly explaining. "This eel carries a curse… though only living for a few days after becoming the carrier of the curse, the slime it generates makes you feel disgusted… absolute disgust."
