The God of Jesters

Riktor Malidi, the Crazy Scholar was pretty famous among the Radiant Knights of the generation before him, so by the time he came of age and began his journey in this tumultuous world, Malidi had disappeared.

It would seem the suppression from the world forces had finally made him drop his head down and live in hiding. Well, that was if he was alive to begin with.

But who would have imagined, when in pursuit of his life's enemy, Alabasta would find this scholar not too long after following the boy he tracked?

"Your divination is good… I wonder how you noticed my existence?" These were the first words Malidi spoke to him after putting down his notebook.

There was no fear on the old man's face, nor much surprise. And the scene of him running away in front of a Radiant Knight didn't happen as Alabasta had heard before, for Malidi appeared as confident as he was. He was in power at that moment.
