New Character

Clarent was glad not only did they install the Capsule for the system, but they also fixed his room!

The insides of the capsule were like that of a massage chair. He fit himself in there and felt the most comfortable he has ever been in his life. On the right resting arm, he felt there were buttons there.

"If I remember correctly, the right one is to close the lid, and the left is to turn it on."

The Capsule is called the one who guides the dead through the river Styx, but unlike that guy, this one doesn't consume gold coins. Inside the lid of the capsule has a screen and can be used as a T.V. or a screen for other games. It also has built-in Wi-Fi, now all of that is just auxiliary, the main thing is this.

Clarent held in his hand a VR helmet that is promptly connected to the capsule and wore it over his head. If the helmet were not present, you won't be able to play even if you have the capsule.

Clarent closed the lid and turned on he wandered his finger towards the middle button, this button will activate the system, 'if I press it I could finally play the game I've ever wanted to play ever since I was little remembering back then, if the little me is here he'll call me fortunate even though my situation is not.' Clarent thought as he pressed the middle button.

His vision darkened, and the feeling of his body faded, but soon reappeared when he opened his eyes. It surprised him as the cosmos surrounded him and when he looked down to see he was standing on transparent tiles, the only sign that there were tiles was the white lines that outline them.

[Welcome to !]

[Create a new character or you can export your character from a previous capsule!]

Clarent pressed the create a new character, and it gave me a list of races.

[Races]

Human

Elf

Dwarf

Lizardman

Skeleton

Dragonoid

Vampire

Orc

Goblin

Halfling

Centaur...

There were a lot of races, ranging from those of Greek mythology to Filipino mythology. the freedom offered to players made this game popular compared to other games, but of course, such creatures will be hard to raise as well.

I heard of a where human players have to raid an orc village and said orc village contained orc players. It was one reason there are few orc players, since orcs are one of the most common creatures in the game. There are also the powerful races such as angels, demons, giants, and vampires, but playing like an angel locks you in the realm above, and they locked demons in the realms below and can only emerge through or summoning,

Looking over the races, playing human would be the best bet, but I would need to use the race that has the most clues about where is and of course a race where it's easier to level up, and that is Demi-god, even if there were no clues about where is, it was stated that the had something to do about its disappearance, but the clergymen and cultists could not find any answer.

[You have selected the Demi-God race!]

[Choose your lineage!]

[You've chosen Human!]

[Choose your parent !]

The of represent the of the real world, and some fiction as well, there were only a handful of that are worth considering, for most of them are just a*sholes.

[You've chosen the The Unknown!]

'The Unknown' is a who corresponds with the name, it's a who represents the ones who are forgotten, well that's what the description said, the community has rated this the worst choice since you gain nothing from it, unlike Ares who'll bless you with strength, or Mimir who'll bless you with knowledge.

[Would you like to use your real name?]

Yes.

[Would you like to change your appearance?]

Yes. Clarent switched the color of his hair to red and pressed the confirmation button.

[Final, shout out to confirm your character and enter the game!]

Clarent breathed in and shouted out with all of his might, hand raised in the air.

"Open Gate of Eden!"

Clarent's face blushed as he said those cringe-worthy lines. The only thing that comforted him from the cringe was thinking of Aiko, who also had to shout this out when she made her character.

"Hm?"

[Welcome to the world of !]

The solid ground suddenly disappeared and Clarent fell at the speed of a meteor entering the atmosphere of the earth. Clarent's body ignited the surrounding air, but it was a good thing that he could only feel a fraction.

"AAAAAAAAAA"

Even if he couldn't feel the pain, he was still in fear and admiration as the world of entered his view, the most beautiful thing as he finally achieved his dream of playing the game.

But the awe-inducing sight was only brief as it slammed him to the ground and fell unconscious.

[Welcome to Alcor, the Town of Beginnings!]

Waking up, my ears were ringing and looking around, I was in front of a fountain. I stood up and looked into the waters of the fountain to see my reflection. My short scarlet red hair, and amber yellow eyes. I'm wearing a white t-shirt and brown pants.

[Status]

Race: Demi-God, Human

Parent Deity: The Unknown

Name: Clarent

Age: 26

Level: 1

Class: None

HP: 62/62 MP: 22/22

Stats: (Str): 12 (Agi): 12 (Vit): 12 (Int): 12 (Magic Power): 12

Skills: Sword Mastery (Beginner), First Aid (Beginner)

Class Skills:

Racial Traits: Divine Blood

Unallocated Points:

***

All human players start with the stats of 8, and when you level up you gain 5 points and if you have a specific class, let's say swordsman, then you'll get a +1 to Strength, Agility, and Vitality when you level up, but that still means I'm comparable to a level 3 player.

Though that Divine Blood trait gave me those +4 to all stats, it's still one of the worst skills for beginners, for monsters with relatively low intelligence will attack you on sight and if you get killed by one, the monster who killed you will become stronger than before.

***

[Divine Blood](Racial Trait)

You have the blood of a flowing in you, making you stand out from the rest, but it also attracts more monsters. Some would even go berserk just being near you, so be careful.

***

A player usually plays with a group in early levels and acts as a tank most of the time, but now I'm playing solo since it provides more exp.

"Hey there, are you finally awake?"

A guard went up to me. He was wearing full plate armor and had a greatsword strapped behind his back, but what makes him stand out from the rest is that there's an exclamation point on top of his head.

"Yes, sorry about that."

"No worries, you always do this. I mean, being summoned to help this world probably took a toll on your bodies."

The guard checked my body and seem impressed, then he nodded to himself and said,

"Okay, looks like you'll do. The other seem to not take my request, but please eliminate the nearby goblins who have taken camp in the forest west of Alcor. Even taking 10 of them down would be enough."

***

[ Those Pesky Goblins!]

Description: The goblins became arrogant and started camping near Alcor. You're tasked to eliminate all of them, but 10 would be enough.

Tracker: 0/50 killed

Penalty: None

Reward: 10 gold, and +1 to all stats, will improve if the entire camp is defeated.

***

A reward with a +1 to all stats is great enough by itself, but +10 gold. With that, I could get studded-leather equipment and a better sword, but the reward also means that the enemy is that difficult to deal with.

"Okay, I'll take the , but I'll need to prepare first, so please give me a durable shovel and two 10-meter rope ladders."

The guard thought about it and nodded. He shook my hand and gave me what I needed.

With that, my first , I won't need a party for this one since it'll be a breeze, in the town of beginning only monsters of levels 1-7 are here, and the forest at the west of Alcor only have monsters that are levels 2-4.

Now, I have a plan on how to deal with those pesky goblins. I'll be using physics against them.

I walked towards the gate of Alcor and saw a lot of players there. They have different hair colors. It was like I was looking at some anime.

"My goal, for now, is reaching level 10 in the Town of Beginning."

I said to myself as I went to the forest alone, with no party.
