ACE
"Ace! Pay attention!" Kade said at the front of the room. I looked up from my notes and raised a brow in confusion.
"I'm taking notes on what you're talking about," I said with slight sass.
"Oh, never mind then." He said looking embarrassed before he began to teach again. Some of the girls in class glared at me for correcting him but I paid no mind.
The bell rang before he could continue with the lesson. I smiled at him as I left the room.
"Ace baby!" I heard as I was walking to my next class. I looked around to see Izzy running toward me. I smiled at her and stopped so she could catch up. Once she was close enough she gave me a hug, our height difference had my face pressed into her chest.
"Hey Izzy," I said continuing my walk to my next class.
"I don't know what you meant with how you were talking about the new history teacher. He is the worst!" She said dramatically
"Really? I don't think so, he is always super nice in my class. What happened?" I asked stopping in front of the classroom.
"I don't know he just gives me the creeps. I seriously think that I saw him staring at girls' asses."
'Kade wouldn't do that..' I thought worriedly. "I'll have to see it for myself but in the meantime please keep this between us," I asked, once she nodded I walked into class.
I couldn't focus on anything until lunch came around. Instead of heading straight to the lunchroom for food, I went to Kade's classroom. When I got there, he was alone so I walked in and closed the door.
"I'm going to ask you something and I need you to be 100% honest with me, no matter what the answer is." I began. "I'm not asking this as your student, I'm asking as your roommate." I waited for him to agree before continuing, "Do you look at female students inappropriately?"
Kade's eyes grew wide and he choked on his own spit. "What? Of course not!" He said, "What gave you the idea that I do?"
I smiled, relieved, "It doesn't matter, I'll take care of it. See you last period." and I was gone.
I all but ran to the lunchroom. When I got there I quickly made my way to our table and slammed my hands down on the table. "Izzy, why would you lie about Mr. Smith?" I asked firmly.
She looked shocked and stuttered out, "I didn't lie! I-i really do get a bad vibe from him!"
"That doesn't mean you lie and say that he is a pedophile! Do you know how that can ruin someone's life?! Why would you lie?"
She seemed upset at my outburst and softly said, "I just didn't want you to like him." before I could respond, she ran out of the cafeteria.

The car came to a stop as we pulled up to Susan's house. It had been four days since meeting Aiden, he had been over twice and was staying the night. I grinned at Kade as we got out of the car.
Before we could knock Aiden swung the door open with a huge smile. "Alpha! Ace!" He cheered. He looked all ready to go, he had on a blue and black jacket that matched his outfit nicely. He had a plain blue shirt and dark blue skinny jeans on, his shoes were light grey converse. In his hands, he held a light blue bunny plush and he had a red spiderman backpack on.
"You ready for a fun night bud?" Kade asked crouching down to his level.
Aiden bobbed his head up and down enthusiastically, he turned around and looked to someone further in the house I couldn't see. "Ms. Sue I leave wif Alpha now." He said before shutting the door behind him.
Aiden spent so much time with Kade that he had a car seat of his own that normally stayed in his car.
"So what movie do you want to watch tonight kiddo?" I asked as I buckled him up in his seat.
"Spiderman!!!" he cheered, we were on our way back home. The drive was filled with Aiden talking about random things.
Once we made it home, I went to help Aiden unbuckle but he jumped out of the car right as I opened the door. I gasped and pulled him toward me seriously. "Aiden! That is very bad! You need to wait for an adult to tell you it is safe to get out before you leave the car. Do you understand?" I said sternly.
Aiden stared up at me with wide eyes and said, "But, Ms. Sue let me when we home an' this is my other home."
I smiled softly and brought him in for a hug, "Just don't do it anymore alright?" He nodded as Kade came around and picked him up.
"Let's go watch some spiderman." He said

The movie was in its climax and both of the boys had fallen asleep. Aiden was sitting between Kade and me, he softly snored as he held onto my arm tightly like he did when we met. I smiled fondly at him as a shimmied my arms around him to carry him to bed. He had his own room in the apartment, filled with toys, action figures, and plushies.
I tucked him into his bed and made sure to set his bunny plush in his arms before leaving. I was going to just head to bed, but I knew that Kade would regret sleeping on the couch.
I turned off the tv and leaned over Kade, "Hey, you should go to bed." I said softly, I put my hand on his shoulder and shook him slightly.
He moaned and pulled me on top of him, cuddling me before going back to sleep, his grip tight.
My face went red, "Kade. You need to get up." I tried again, I couldn't shake him with my arms, he was holding them at my sides, so I wiggled my body.
"Go back to sleep baby," he murmured cuddling his face into my neck.
"Kade!" I raised my voice slightly, this caused him to wake up with a jolt. Once he registered the position we were in, his hands released me instantly. I stepped back awkwardly.
"I'm so sorry Ace!" He said quickly, before I could reply, he ran out of the room and to his bedroom.
